Meet Miss World Malta 2012

MISS WORLD MALTA 2012 – DANIELA DARMANIN

Daniela Darmanin, 21 years old was born on the 30th April 1991, lives in Mgarr, formerly known as Mgiarro, is a small town in the northwest of the mainland which is a typical rural village situated in an isolated region, west of It is surrounded with rich farmland and vineyards. Many of its 3,014 inhabitants are farmers or are engaged in some sort of agricultural activity.

Daniela lives with her parents Philip and Victoria and her older brother Francesco. From a young age Daniela always wanted to be involved in the entertainment business as she started singing and dancing at the age of 7years.

After a few years of singing and dancing she was approached to take part in a modelling contest in which she made it to the final. From there she decided that modelling was going to be her path and continued on this line. Daniela continued to take part with success in several competitions. In 2008 I had took part in Miss World Malta and came with the top 7 finalists and won Best Photogenic looks ,Daniela had continued to work harder to step it up the next time .Apart from competitions I also did a considerable number of photo shoots and adverts for various important Maltese companies. To continue gaining experience for Miss World, this year Daniela took part in Miss Face of Malta, and also Miss Italia nel Mondo in which she placed second. She did not just take part in local competitions but also has had a lot of experience outside of Malta in various countries like England, Cyprus, Tunisia and Bulgaria. Last but not least Daniela took part in Miss World Malta 2012, she considers this to be the biggest success in her modelling career so far and is working hard to make her country proud next August in Ordos, China.
