Miss World Malta 2011

Twenty-two year-old Claire Marie Busuttil, 1.75m-tal, from Ħaż-Żabbar, was crowned Miss World Malta 2011 at the Hilton Malta, in the city of St. Julian’s. She will represent Malta in Miss World 2011 in London, England, on November 6.

Tiziana Cutajar and Dajana Laketic finished second and third, respectively. Yasmin Falzon, Sara Jane Spiteri, Chantel Vassallo and Charlene Schembri completed the Top 7.

Thirty-one contestants competed in Malta’s most important pageant.

Malta has had one semi-finalist in Miss World history, Mary Brincat, back in 1969. Claire Marie will try to change that.
